Maester Kelk Ronso is character created by Square Soft for the game Final Fantasy X. Though a side character, he appears several times in the game and is a catalyst for several plot points. Square literature indicates that he was in his late fifties during the game timeline.

In addition to being a spiritual leader for the Ronso, and a member of Yevon clergy and administration, Kelk is considered to be a "warrior among warriors." The Ronso race are an odd combination of the fighting and honor traditions of the Samurai warriors of ancient Japan and the idea of the "noble savage" cultivated in Europe during the years of colonization and puritan expansion in America. As Leader of this group of somewhat isolationist people, Kelk is an obviously respected individual as a priest, a warrior, and a tribe elder.

In is capacity as a Maester of Yevon,Kelk appears in chapters of Legendary Guardian when the Council of Maesters meets or when other political situations arise.
